| Fighting with Father follows the true story of a young man, Yonas, who must come to grips with his father's destructive behavior and the resulting chaos that his behavior wrecks on Yonas' family. Yonas emulates his father's behavior in an effort to understand it. Written from the real life experiences and dream fantasies of the young co-writer of the film, Yonas Endale, Fighting with Father is a movie that reenacts the past and documents Yonas' effort to reconcile with his father. Fighting with Father is part of the 2010 Rotterdam Film Festival.
